The Alliance Française of New Orleans, like every Alliance Française in the United States and the world, follows the official program built by the Council of Europe called: The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It was designed to provide a comprehensive basis for language curriculum guidelines, the design of teaching and learning materials, and the assessment of foreign language proficiency, which can be officially confirmed via DELF/DALF exams if desired.
